*No pillows, blankets or loose bedding
*Older babies can use approved lovies with the permission from individual pediatrician/doctor
*Mattress should fit snuggly in the crib/cot and there should be no gaps around the edges
*Only use a properly fitted sheet on the mattress
*Cribs/cots should not have drop-down sides
*Make sure to lower crib/cot mattress before or as soon as baby begins to sit independently
*Be placed on back for sleep for the first 12 months of life
*Allowed to sleep on tummy IF rolls there independently AND with the "green light" from individual pediatrician/doctor
