*Follow a (flexible) sleep schedule. Following an age-appropriate sleep schedule where your child naps and goes to bed around the same time(s) every day can be incredibly helpful as we all sleep better when we sleep at predictable times.
*Institute a regular wakeup time. Having a regular, consistent wakeup time helps "shape" your child's day. It can make nap times and feeding times more predictable and keep your child's schedule on course.
*Keep a sleep log. Keeping a log with what time(s) your little one sleeps and for how long can be very enlightening. It can help reveal sleep patterns and make it easier for both you and a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant to understand what is currently going on sleep wise in your home.
If you have a baby, toddler or preschool aged child who is not sleeping well, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at: [email protected] to schedule a FREE 15 minute introductory phone call to learn how I can help your family get the gift of sleep.
