The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no screen time (excluding video chatting) for children under 18 months of age. For children 18 months to 2 years of age they suggest very limited, high-quality screen time with parent involvement to help guide your child through the experience. And for children 2 to 5 years old, screen time should be limited to 1 hour a day and again with parent involvement.
